How to Create a QR Code for a URL

Start with the final URL
Create the exact link first, including UTM parameters if you need campaign tracking. Open the link once before turning it into a QR code.
Keep the code easy to scan
Shorter URLs usually create simpler QR codes. If the QR code has too many tiny squares, use a clean redirect URL or a short campaign URL that you control.
- Leave white space around the QR code.
- Use enough contrast between code and background.
- Test it from the distance people will actually scan it.
Download the right size
